Default Any Suggestions

I recently moved from india and when i arrived i bought a 99 civic ex. I have to say i am impressed. In india i had essentially the same car but, instead of a civic it was called "city". After arriving to the states, i have noticed that you guys are talking about modding your car to perform even better. I am $500 to blow and i was wondering what i should start out with. When i bought the car, it already came equipped with a cat exhaust. I had people tell me to add an air intake but, i don't know whether or not they harm your engine. I would also like to point out that i live in the small town of Bellingham where it rains 75% of the time and that is the reason why i am a bitt hessitant to install a Air Intake. I don't know, maybe i'm just different. Any suggestion.

You could get a pretty decent suspension setup for about 500 bucks. This would include new lowering springs with new shocks, and maybe even a strut bar to go with it.

Get some pretty wheels. Wheels make you feel good about your car, but they do not make it go faster.
