if you're looking at an all race setup. look at an ef civic. lighter weight, and cheaper to acquire.

plus a b16a1 is only $1100 plus you can do a build up.

if i were to do a build up. i'd probably do an a small turbo, which spooled quickly. and a close ratio tranny.


on a more realistic view, doing another civic hatch project would just be for the ease of doing it, you've already done 2 rebuilds on your sedan, why do a third on the a coupe or hatch, it's not as if it's any different.

change it up and get another car as a track car, and leave the sedan for your highway hijinx.

well you know it makes sense. why not have fun on the track with a rear wheel drive car. But you know it's not even a challenge anymore, it's just sitting down and doing it. True you'll learn about suspension, but you still won't be challenged. So it makes completely more sense getting something new.
