Hey guys, appologize if that is a stupid question. I have an Apexi World Sport on my 97 civic EX, and im about to get a rear Type-R lip and im just curious whether or not the lip will hit the exhuast. It has a little bit of clearance right now, but has anyone had experience with this combo? My car is white so am I gonna get black smoke all over the lip? Appreciate any help with this fellas!

 

assuming you have ~1 inch clearance now, you're going to have clearance issues with the lip installed. for the exhaust soot on the bumper, you can get a metal plate for that purpose.

 

i probably have about 1inch now so im probably going to run into problems huh? And about the soot, im sure the metal plate would work but how would that look on my car with the rear lip? I dont have any problem with soot now, at all, but I suppose if the lip is on it will cause problems.
