How do you get the engine code from a 93 SI???

thats what i meant, but i cant find that wire, its easy to find on my civic, but dont seem to be there on my del sol

 

ok, when i turn the car off, the check engine light goes off and dont come on till i drive for a while, so im not gettin any code, im not sure if im shorting the right 2 wires.

It was a green plug with 2 sets of plugs that each had 2 wires, i shorted the ones with the blue wire and turned the key. i got no beep code from that.
