I was thinking of trading my 2000 civic ex, for an older civic like a eg civic or something. Right now i have an apexi n1 on it and i was wondering if i can't find someone to sell it too and i have to trade it in to the dealership would it make a huge money difference if i bought someones used oem exhaust and put it on there. Any input would be great thanks in advance.

If youre gonna trade it in to the dealership first ask them and try to make your mods sound more than what they really are. Like say "That exhaust system is a limited edition and gives off about 35 HP" , retty much stupid things like that :chuckles: . If for some reason they dont want to bargain with you than just take it back to stock

 

Take a look at www.kbb.com and find the Trade-In value for your car. Take about $500 off of that price for the exhaust. I would take the stereo out, too. Actually, I have a stock 99 EX CD player if you're interested.

i heared the value of the car decreases with the more mods u have...so i agree with taking all aftermarket parts out ur car and putting it back to stock...Cause i wouldnt want to buy a car that has been fixed up cause i would figure its been raced out...
