Default Caliper reset on 2000 Civic si

I just got done replacing the brake pads and rotors on my 2000 Civic si. I can't get the caliper back over the rotor. On the front brakes, there is a screw that resets the caliper, but there's no screw on the rear ones.

Anyone know how to do this?

rear ones screw back in.

The manual says to use needle-nose pliers. Stunnazone sells a tool that looks like a cube with nubs on it, that attatches to a 3/8th socket wrench....

Default Got it!

Big ass pliers - worked like a charm. Took me a minute to figure out what "damn noob" meant though. got that one too eventually.

Sorry it's all love over here though, it's not serious just poking at you with a stick.
About 10 years ago I was at your exact spot in automotive repair. you live and learn. I got the same thing back then. I was a little confused about what you were saying calling something a reset screw>??? Confused, do you mean the bleed screw?

open ur mc cap and get a C-clamp. it pushes the piston back in allowin you to fit new pads.

You don't even have to open the master cyl. cap. Just push it in and your good to go.

That only works in the front.

technically you can damage your ABS system by forcing the fluid back up the brake lines.. you are supposed to open the bleeder screw, but the problem is that most of us are lazy and don't wanna risk getting air into the lines
