2006 Honda Civic, No pics just an article.....
http://www.hondapreview.com/civic/
"As far as the Si is concerned, Honda is planning on keeping the current version through MY05. For the next generation 2006 model, plans are to switch to a 2 door Coupe and address the issues of horsepower and styling. Honda is stating that the next generation Civic will "solidify Honda's Performance Leadership". We can't wait"
Well its about fuccen time Honda stopped messing around with the Civic.

the new Si is a pig. If they don't make a decent one this next time around, I'll go to the nearest honda dealer and take a shit on their showroom floor

If that's true, I think it's a bummer that they're planning to make the next Si a coupe. If only they brought the CTR here for a decent price... Oh well, at least they're looking to "solidify Honda's Performance Leadership".

If they made the Si in the '04-'05 Coupe body style and put the RSX Type S (or just got some more power out of the base engine in them now), I'd definitely buy one...and I think a lot of other people would too. Honda's development people really dropped the ball when they were planning the current Si. They thought the car would sell just because it was a Honda, despite its lack of performance....but that hasn't been the case (especially with all the competition that is now out there)

I think it would be hot if honda offered both a hatch and a coupe in Si trim at the same time. Considering over the years the average weight of the civic has gone up slowly, the 8th gen will probably be slightly heavier than the 7th gen, but hopefully Honda will offset that weight increase with some decent hp (180+).
And whatever happened with the crx concept? I'm still waiting... Maybe '06 will see a reintroduction to the crx?! ::crosses fingers::
