The TYCs are great, I've got more and whiter light than OEM (I did have regular American SilverStar's in my OEM 9006 lows).

Paid $189 shipped for the headlamps, paid $70 shipped (From Europe) for 4 H1 SilverStar 50% bulbs.

Looks nice though, but it looks really high on the wall unless you are on an incline?

Yeah, you're right they take H1 bulbs.

As for the "custom" projectors, those are the regular TYC projectors straught out of the box. They're the new ones that came out about a month ago.

I was surprised myself at how good the cutoff and light output was esp, since it's an aftermarket projector!

These headlights get a .

 Helps if I read the last couple posts on there.

I PM'd the guy a long time ago when I was researching them...I could swear he told me they were just the projectors...no HID's. :dunno:

what he ment by straight out of the box was that he didnt have to put in a sheild to make a cut off point, or hack around inside to make the HIDS work

those have got to be HID's cause of the light on the area in front of the car.

of course you could try'em out to see what they look like without the HID's. but i'd skip the aftermarket bulbs and just get the HID's.
