Battery replacement - which one is best?
Hello,
My girlfriends 99 Civic EX just had its battery totally die. I want to replace it for her, but don't know which bettery is best to get. Is the exide from Kragen good, or is the Diehard from sears better? Or, is there an even better battery to get? Located in CA. Your help is really appreciated.

if she's stock & not running any kinda serious stereo.. just get a battery with some kinda warrenty on it.. doesn't make to much of a difference these days!
if your running a crap load of electronics & extra stuff.. Optima all the way!

i went to sears and got a diehard weather handler for 70 bucks installed with a 2 year warranty . . . the car started up super fast (faster than stock) for the first few months now its slowin down though . . .. i have no idea if thats a way to measure battery performance but i dont find it very promising for a battery.
