Default Wiring to ECU-need to know how to connect it

So , how does one go about connecting the wires for Vtec etc to the ECU? soldering? getting the pin connectors? or just jamming it right into the ecu (duh).

Well it depends. What I would do is get the pins at the dealer ( you will need 2) and thats it.

You can also stop by your local junk yard and just pull the ECU plug off and hack a few pins out of it to use. When I first did my swap, all I did was twist the wire up, shove in the back of the plug till it started to stick out the other side than plug the plug back in. Worked fine for about a year. I was a friends local shop who buys wrecked cars and strips them and I managed to grab a few pins with a small amount of wire attached (they just cut up an entire junk ECU harness) and soldered and heat shrink wrapped the new connections. Probably better that way, but both worked.

I jammed my twisted wires through works fine. To hell with it I am lazy and refer to african american engineering (it's a joke relax.)
