Default smog question

im missing an o2 sensor(the one connecting to the cat converter) in my 96 hatch, and i was wondering if it will pass smog without it? I have to smog my car this week.

It will fail, no question... unless you have an O2 simulator or the like and they don't actually look at it.

ok my 96 hatch came with stock motor with ex intake manifold and header. aslo the piping is changed. In order to get the o2 sensor to reach all the way to the cat, i need a really long one. To my knowledge o2 sensors are short. Can I cut the wires of the sensor and and extend it??

im getting code 41 and 65. you think those codes are from that sensor to the cat. 41 is primary and 65 is secondary. do you think the one connected to the header is defective?

a civic 96+ ex and dx have the same o2 sensor location??

someone plz help, my cel keeps lighting up. do u think the ex intake manifold is causing it? cuz i have a stock d16y7 with an ex intake manifold.
