Anything is possible. Sounds like it would definitely be a custom job. It will take some planning and maybe a lot of custom fabrication ... ultimately it may take a lot of $$ compared to a turbo kit that is ready to go. Hopefully there is someone on the board that has done a similar turbo project. Good luck.

you probably need a custom made manifold and plumbling. also the turbo's made for rotary's differ a little than turbo's made for piston engines. you might want to take that into consideration when it comes to boost and output.

step 1- find a/r and trim size to see if this will work well for your car
step 2 - find out the type of flange it uses for the exhaust manifold
step 3 - check for the condition of the turbo by shaft play on the turbine on the compressor side and any signs of oil in the compressor turbines and exhaust side...
if all look good you can try to fabricate it to your car...

either way.. your going to need the same amount of stuff.. T-25 will spool quickin on the y8 tho!

like igo4mbx said check for shaft play with what ever turbo you decide to get & find a manifold that goes along with it. If you need some help on finding best prices on the net lemme know.. I just peiced together my new turbo kit.

found a plage to get 35mm wastegates that would work good on a t-25 for $150 shipped!

Just post u'r questions & status on this project here & u'll have all u'r info in no time!

saab turbos have an unconventional exhaust hausing and wastegate configuration... You'll need a lot of customization to get it to work, I'd suggest looking for a different turbo :happysad:
