i was thinking about picking up a 92-95 civic i was wondering what models had power windows and locks. Do any hatchbacks or is it just coupes or what????

I've seen a White/Blue VYNIL interior'ed Automatic 95 DX hatch with them, and I don't know if they're even supposed to... This one had power steering, too. NONE of the manual DX's I've ever seen have had power steering, or any of that crap. I don't know if you can add all that stuff from the factory, or why someone would do that instead of just buying an Si. Some Si owners out there might happily trade you their powered stuff for your manual stuff.

 

If you buy an alarm from Circuit City, they'll install power locks for $50 a door.

 

Correction. NO usdm 92-95 civic hatches reguardless of cx, vx, dx, or Si have power door locks and power windows standard nor an option. ppl usually do aftermarket or take the guts from a EX coupe and swap it over.

 

Are EX's available with a blue vinyl interior? This DX hatch I saw had power windows, and the door panels were of the blue vinyl variety. It only stands out to me because that's the interior that I have and I'd love to have powered options on my CX... I thought about canibalizing a DX somewhere in a junkyard to get them, but I've never seen another one since.

 

I've never heard of any DX having power anything. I could be wrong myself but I think that person put that stuff in there himself. I only remember the EX and LX having power dl's and windows.

 

ex coupes never had a blue interior, it was all either grey, black or tan. what u probably saw was he reuse his cx panels and just enlarge/ create the holes for the switches and stuff.
