What engine is better the LS engine or the b16a2

they both have disadvantages and advantages. do a search and you will find what you need. what are you planning on doing to the engine once you get it and what will the car be used for?

That's completely objective.

The B16A is "better" at reving to some ungodly high RPM.

The B18A/B is "better" at producing torque.

What do you want to know?

b16a2...JDM SiR II motor right?.....i would do B16....ls is good for budget cost and b16 is good if you have money for build up.

B16A2 is actually the USDM del Sol / 99-00 Civic Si B16A engine, but is often confused with the second gen B16A (which is actually stamped only B16A.) The del Sol VTEC also carries a B16A3 in certain years.

I actually believe the opposite, the B16A is good for a budget, the B18A/B is better if you want to sink some money into it.
