I think Josh (westcoast) has teh lights from JDM land. Not sure who else has them on here; I think I saw a hatch on here with them... or was it a coupe

Install is the same. Most people wire the city lights into the constant wire (red I think) of the corner lights, and cut the constant from going to the corners. This way they come on instead of your parking lights, and your corners only flash.

everything is the same installation wise.

if you want to wire up the courtesy lights ...use the constant wire from the corner lamps.

good post in here I think.

They install exactly the same. You can do what you want with the city lights.

the way I did it
cut the wire that provides power to the dim filiment of your corners (parking lights)
route that wire to your city light and run the other city light wire to a ground

This will make it so that the city lights illuminate when you turn on your parking lights and your corners only light up when you turn on your signal

the way I will eventually do it
run the power wires from my parking lights/headlights switch to an on-off-on switch
one 'on' goes to the parking lights, the other 'on' to the city lights. This will allow you to switch from parking lights to city lights at any time.
In addition, I will run a relay between the city light power wires with an actuation wire from the power wire going to the headlights. This will make it so that if I have the 'on' set to have the city lights on, when I turn on my headlights the city lights will no longer be on because they won't be visible anyway. h:

Long winded I know, but... there you have it.

you can pull the wire out and not need to cut

why wouldnt you just wire the city lights up to something thats constantly on? that way, when the car is on, theyre on.
