Default What is this and where does it go?

Ok I saw this on a site whose name I shall not mention because of someone who keeps making threads about them but anyways.....

They have this thing called an H-brace and this is the ad write up for the 92-2000 civic version........

"The H-Brace stabilizes the frame by supporting the chassis. The Brace provides high speed cornering stability with minimal chassis flex. Developed from Japanese technology."

I've added a pic and just wanted to know what it is and where it goes...Even if it does sound like a noob question please just humor me...
I just can't seem to visualize where the hell this thing would go..
So if you've ever seen one of these damn things or have one please post some input..

there is actually a decent ammount of room there because the h brace and the subframe are bent on opposite directions to make a sort of "tunnel" but i didnt want to guess and buy one and be stuck with something that didnt fit my application. besides i figured if the dude didnt have the courtesy to answer my question he didnt really want my business.

Let's say that a modest modified car has a Front & Back Strut Bars as well as Front and Back Sway Bars.

To be honest, does it really help?
