The swap wouldnt be illegal if your car is a 92-93 Civic, swapping a 92-93 GSR motor. The only problem is switching from a hydraulic tranny to a cable tranny. Otherwise it is just like swapping a B16A engine into the car.

Damn! I guess it's illegal then cause I have a '94 Civic.
