Default Lights Bulb on Climate

Sorry guy maybe wrong forum.

Anyways, do anyone know how to change the light bulb on a 5th Gen DX Coupe Climate?

They have been out for a while, but I do not know how to replace them.

Can anyone provide step by step or even pictures?

wow what a great question...I have the same problem, I have just been too lazy to actually tear into the dash to find out how to do it.

no step by step pictures, but it is kind of a pain.

1. remove stereo and console below the deck.
2. look underneith the dash with a flash light and find the two screws located in the upper left and right corners towards the front of the dash.
3. unhook the temp control line. Its a hook that comes in from the top, so just get a flat head and press up from the bottom and the metal wire should pop out of the hole.
4. towards the firewall, there should be one screw holding the back of the climate control onto the dash. unscrew that.
5. if youre looking at the control from the front, to the left should be the plug that lights up the control and controls the air flow speed. kind of hard to get to, but i believe its a green plug that pulls back towards the firewall.
6. the last plug is a white on that is on the back of the climate control. that ones kind of a pain as well, but after you get that unplugged, just grab it and pull it on out.

- these steps are just off the top of my head from the last time i did mine, which was a while ago. I think there might be a couple more screws that need to be unscrewed, but should be in plain sight from under the control and with a flashlight.

like i said, make sure to take out the Deck and console so getting to it will be easier. HIH

thats a good write-up...I just did it about 2 weeks ago when I first started stripping my car. I don't think I can add anything to it.

Do you have to pull the 'cage' for the deck to get to the climate control?

yes because its right below the control. just take a little screw driver and pry out however many tabs are holding it in.
