what is the diffrence betwine the 98 civic lx and ex thanks

 

haha thats a broad question.. but the main differences, the lx is only 4 door.. ex can be coupe or 4 door. ex has d16y8 engine, lx has d16y7 engine.. y8 is much better. different tranny's and a lot of small different things

in 01+ civics there is coupe and sedan lx

 

yes we all know that, but if u read carefully it says 98 lx and ex, but yeah those are main differences oh and the EX has a cd player while the LX has am/fm radio only, and ex has keyless entry, sunroof, map lights, vtec, body colored door handles, molding, and mirrors.

 

The EX has a spoiler, has power options and a few others already mentioned. A lot of the standards offered in the EX model are available as options for the lesser models. It's hard to say EXACTLY what all LXs have because the original buyer can specify which 'better' options they want.

 

my ex doesnt have a spoiler??

 

I think the spoiler was optional.

 

Aside from the spoiler and CD player it sounds right on. In '98 honda also changed to a 6 speaker system. Don't know if this was for the lx, but the ex did.
