Default Greetings, first time buyer here!

Greetings! I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here. My wife and I recently got our very own car (our first one ever to boot), a black 2004 Civic LX and I must say we're pleased with our purchase. We wanted something small yet dependable and after all of our research, we came to the conclusion the Civic was a perfect match.

Here's a pic:

I look forward to a long stay here.

I'm still not sure precisely what I think of the new headlights....

Anyway, congrats, they're great cars.

Thank you for the welcome! I'm entirely new to cars, so getting a used car wasn't an option for us. I'm quite sure the warranty will come in handy for us. Living in NYC, there really isn't that much of a need to own a car, but the misses and I decided we needed to get around more so we made our move. I've studied the manual as best I can to help guide me through the basics, so to speak, but judging from what I've read thus far in other threads, many of you guys are a wealth of information. I'm gonna have to get start picking up on the lingo.

Cheers!

Thanks! They aren't stock wheels. I wanted to jazz up the look of the car and the dealership has some non-Honda wheels available so I went with them. They gave me a great deal so I couldn't refuse.

Eventually, I'd like to get these, though: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/wheelsma...maxbypri1.html

I'm wondering if I should get them in regular alunimum, black, or white. I have penty of time to decide I suppose. I have no plans to do anything to the car in the immediate future.

having no immediate plans is a good thing My advice would be to spend as much time researching and thinking about it as you can before changing the car... That way you're sure to get what you want.
