Default Header gasket problems. :(

On my OBX header, it's a 2 piece, 4-2-1. The gasket for inbetween (header & downpipe) keeps going out. The one they sent me burned up 20 minutes after I put the header on. So i tried to find another gasket but noone has one that will fit, so I had to get a HUGE sheet of High Temp gasket from Napa and cut my own. But now the one I cut is leaking too. What else can i use?

to totally eliminate the problem, maybe you should get the two pieces welded...
its not hard to install a one piece header anyways
