I'm selling a full Sunroof out of my GSR. h:

Those plug kits are cool if you really want the weight reduction... I sometimes wish I had a sunroof. :dunno:

i love my sunroof too!!! except someone broke it when they opened it up this winter while a layer of ice was on top of it.. so i've been cruisin with it popped about 1/2"

anyone work on sunroofs before? i think all the happened was it came off the tracks cuz you can still hear the sliders go all the way back when you hold the button.. but the window doesn't move at all.

I think a sunroof add's 50ish lbs to your car.. its not just the glass.. its the whole assembly plus the whole roof is reinforced differently to handle the extra weight..I'm not positive how much extra weight they add but I heard it was definately a large amount

I'm glad my dx doesn't have one but sometimes it would be nice to have

Have you ever actually watched a sunroof be installed? All that is done is the metal is cut a new headliner is installed and the unit is bolted up. no biggy.

If you try and weld a plug in there, you will most likly warp the crap out of your roof. It takes a very skilled professional to weld a large sheet of metal like that, not a neighbor and a case of beer.
