Default 1995 Civic EX Coupe.. good deal?

It's for sale at a dealership nearby for $5995, is that worth it ? it will be my first Civic and be my primary car.

I test drove it, it's nice & the engine is TINY I mean, i've seen 4bangers, but this one must be the smallest.

Thanks.

that sounds way too pricey, I only paid $4000 for my 95 si (same engine but a hatchback and slightly faster). like gmw said, how many miles and manual or auto?

if it has 75000 or less its worth it.but you gotta consider that you could prolly get the same car for cheaper then just buy a new set of rims/other crap that this car has..

depends if you want to modify it a lot or not. if you plan on modding your first car a lot then I would just suggest getting a higher mileage car so the price is cheaper and you can swap out the stock motor. if you are mostly just going to do small mods then that looks like a good candidate, although the price is about $1500 too high, unless it has insanely low mileage. Also those wheels aren't my style.. almost look like 13's. I would definately take those off and sell them to some dumbass high school cheerleader who thinks they are cute

$3500 OBO
1993 HONDA CIVIC, 5spd, a/c, stereo, alarm, tint, HB-Header, Apex catback, Cold air intake, adj, coilovers, xtra parts

Doesn't tell me the miles. I think I might get this.

How does it work in getting a loan for this? I mean, it's a private seller, so I just ask the bank, give them the info and apply for a loan?

yes however getting a loan for a high mileage vehicle is pretty difficult.. the banks usually don't want to fork out money for an older car

Wonder if I can take out a personal loan?

Where I bank, they told me that they will just lend me 80% of the KBB value of the car and I have to fork up the rest. Which would only be around $800-1000 I can come up with that, $3500 is kind of hard.

What HP does a b18c come with stock?

The best thing to do, if you really want to get a loan, is get a personal loan.

If its a B18C than it's JDM and can be one of two engines

GSR or Type-R (both being JDM).

The GSR comes with 180hp and 129 lbs/tq
The Type-R has 200hp and 137 lbs/tq

On both engines you have to consideer wether you will go NA or... what was the other one (Turbo, SC, or Nitrous), simply because of the other specs on the engine
