Default 1/4 turn only on the zex dry bottle?

just wondering why my zex bottle will only open 1/4 turn open and 1/4 turn closed. is this right or do i need to turn harder. cause when i open it no gas comes out . anyway am i a tard or is this thing broken. let me know

There's a little bit of slack in the knob, just give it a hard turn to the left to open it. I had the same issue back in the day when i had a zex kit on my civic, you just have to muscle it and the gas will come out. Make sure you have the line attached tight with teflon tape though.

yeah the tape will be on. but i just wanted to see if it has any gas in it. so can i open it with nothing attached to the bottle?

...just be warned. opening the n2o into the atmosphere is going to be really funny, and you won't have any idea why its so funny, hehe.

excellant, glad to help out. Have fun with the zex kit, nitrous is really addicting. I went through about a bottle a week when i had my kit for a summer. BTW make sure you get some NGK 2 step colder plugs at the very least and make sure your car is in good tune (oil, spark plug wires, etc etc)

should he be retarding the timing a little as well?

oh and how big of a zex shot are you installing?
