Default Do you guys have *THIS* particular model stateside?

Guys n grls,
I have a Honda Del Sol VXi. Its JDM with a D15B2 engine, Chassis number begins EG1. The date of manufacture in 1992, Osaka (?).

Do you have something similar out there in the states? Was this direct US sales model or imported? What is it called-Si, VTi, S, xxx??! (apart from the obvious due to lack of power!). coupla other Qs if you can answer them:

-What other stateside cars did the engine occur in (helps looking for go-faster bits)

-Anybody bought Kayaba AGX shox for these?

- anybody fitted indiglo dials to these or similar? What model's indiglos did u use?

I really would apreciate you input, as there is a much better knowledgebase on your side than here in the UK.

Udhi

But did you guys get a DEl Sol with an SOHC 1500cc VTEC, stateside? What was it called? what years did it get sold out there? The JDM designation is "Del Sol VXi"

and, WTH cant I see my pic??! I can see Dom's lady with the immaculate tummy as well as inspyrals manga babe, but not mine!

BTW, /^Blackmagik^\, The 92 indiglos dont fit cos theres a diff in rpm, speedo AND the number of safety light cutouts in the rpm guage. Have a look at the following link, I stuck it up for dealers to check and see if they can get me a set to fit.:

the 1500 vtec was never available in a sol in the US... The closest you can get is slapping a d16z6 head on a d15b7... Anyway, intakes, exhaust, cam gears, ignition junk, suspension should all be the same. With indiglos, whoever said the civic ones work has never been in a sol. The ones from an Si will work, but it will be in MPH, not KPH... But any gauges made for any sol will work. It will just show a different redline. Remember what it's supposed to be, and you have no problem.
