will I be safe with this offset?
Hey guys, getting some new rims in a couple of weeks. Just a question>> I'm wondering if a +40 offset, with my suspension/lowering setup, will be acceptable?
I have koni yellows and neuspeed springs. 1.75" F/ 1.5" R

+40mm offset on what size wheel and what size tires?
You can't just say yeah that will work if you don't know the dimensions of the wheel and tire.

you should be safe with a 40 series tire, thats pretty thin. but i remember having trouble with the inner plastic lining in the wheel well when i had my 17's on 205-40's in my cr-ex. but as long as your springs keep their bound and rebound. and shocks are in good shape you should be fine. i would have some conscern if you had like a 3" drop or more.but should be fine.
Excellent, thanks bro. This is what I'm thinking. I had some doubts about the inner wheelwell if I chose more then +40. I was thinking +42 because I was worried about the fender but.......
anyone else??

anyone else??
Well you didn't answer my 2nd part of the question. What size are the wheels. You could have a 17x8" wheel with 40mm offset and that will not work.
