the epic battle, j-running dog v honda civic
i dont know if theres a venting place in this forum...but feel free to delete this thread if its not appropraite... but im sure you guys will understand......... driving home, 2 lane highway, forest on both side, night time.... all of a sudden it feels like i hit the biggest friggen pothole... enough to make me pull over... i check to make sure no wheels are dmg.... i see a red peace of plastic on the road, kind of like my color.... i also see a large peace of rubber, which reminds me of my fenderwall..... then i see a dog dead on the side of the road....... first thing i did was check to see if there was a colar. there was none, and it deifatly is a stray unless people let their dog run around in the middle of nowhere late at night.
i did the only thing i could with the utilities i had, and moved the dog back into the forest so it wouldnt rot in peoples view.
i knew i needed a new front bumper.... and as i inspected... the fenderwell guard was RIPPED from the fender, so the fastning holes on the fender were shot, which means i now too need a new fender.
now im not sure if my insurance covers this, but ebay here i come.

same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. my insurance covered my car. i also had full coverage. but yeah...looks like the same place that i hit a dog. i had blood and hair in the cracks of the bumper and fender. that was the proof that i gave to Progressive. i still had to pay my deductable. but they should cover it if you have full coverage. oh and keep the pics for proof.
