ok this is sorta a newb question ... the other day i saw one of these " EL's" that are from canada...i was just curious what exactly are they??? i think he was from ontario...

It's Acura's version of the Civic...it has a nicer interior and more features but other than that I think it's exactly like the Civic.

Imagine a 2004 Civic sedan. Now imagine that the little plastic H emblems are replaced with Acura emblems. Now imagine the cloth seat are leather. That, my friends, is an Acura EL.

 

to be more specific:
it is a canadian acura el, not honda, and as far as i know no where else except japan and europe where it is the honda domaniand it comes in 5dr wagon and i think b18c4
it replaced the 4dr integra which i believe was discontinued in canada in 95
so the acura el started in 96+
it is basically a 4dr civic with different front and tails
it alse has heated mirrors and alloy wheels

I really like the 04+s, especially the tails.

 

They are so funny looking...yet so typically Honda. Probably just because I'm not used to them. :thumbup:

lol one of those pulled up at my work and i was takin the order out to them and i was like wtf is that a civic, and then i looked inside and said whoa this dude paid a lotta cash to convert his civic into an RSX or somethin.
