Default whats the next step up

i got a 97 civic ex. Mods so far are short ram intake, short shifter and motormount inserts and is running 10.3 in the 1/8 mile track. What would be the next mod that would improve my top end that i could also use when i get my gsr motor. budget is 500 dollars thx

Lost to an eclipse need something that will give me top end on the d16y8 and that later i can use when i get the gsr swap

Only thing I can think of is your Muffler system , or get a turbo then change the mani when you get your gsr .

full catback exhaust system,..then add a nitrous kit,..you can always take the nitrous kit off your stock motor and add it to the GSR motor

exactly what I was going to say. Not only is nitrous the highest bang/buck mod it terms of power, its transferable between almost any 4 cyl motor.

Adjustable cam gear for your SOHC. By retarding it a couple of degrees, you can "shift" the power curve to the right and get more top end. They're typically between $100 and $150.
