quick question ...for a bet.
at what rpm does v-tec kick in on the stock D16Y8. its worth $5.00 to me if i win. I said 4,800rpm and my buddy said 5,000rpm. whos right?

no, not 4800, thats on a d16z6 or a d16y8 that has an obd1 d16z6 p28 ecu
the d16y8 w/ p2p (proper ecu) kicks vtec at around 5500
so youre both...er...all wrong
