I have heard both good and bad concerning Nitto tires. My friend had the 555's on his gst eclipse and they hooked up very nice but we also noticed how soft they were and that he wasnt going to get much life out of them. I personally have been a Kumho fan since day 1. They are rather inexpensive and perform very well in most all types of weather conditions.
Yokohamas Parada's All the Way!! Best Grip i've ever had!!!
You must not have had very much
I've had 712s and 711s, both are more than adequate for a street tire, and even hold up ok to autocross The main difference between the two is a different tread pattern, and the 712s have a stiffer sidewall than the 711s. AVS es100 is also a great street tire.
