Default upper control arm - need quick answer please

Ok, I've been shopping for new upper control arms and I can only find them at the dealership for over $100 each. I really just want to replace the balljoint, but I know you have to replace the whole arm. I don't need the bushings or connectors, just the arm and balljoint.

Any ideas? :happysad:

Thanks!

as far as i know the upper arm bushing can not be replaced, the whole arm needs to be (as you said)

i really don't know what your question is.
you can only get it from the honda dealer as far as i know.

you can check maybe some small car parts carry a non oem replacement.

specialty products makes a front upper arm kit that only replaces the ball joint. Its only usefull for small to moderate lowering.

well, they're kinda loose and the car has almost 100k mi on it so I thought I'd do it while I'm replacing the majority of the suspension anyway with the teg stuff.

My question was can I get the arms from somewhere other than Honda for under $100.

I have some old stock upper arms from a 2000 if you want them let me know we can work something out. If youre only worried about them being old. If you want to correct the camber though I would suggest SPC but those will not run under $100

I'm pretty sure the 2000 ones wont fit. Didjuh check sohfast? I'm sure they have it, i'm not so sure on the price. Or you could get the SPC adjustable balljoints and ditch your ingalls crap :rick:

You're right, EK won't work. They have the bushings as part of the arm, whereas the EG's have forks that the bushings fit into.

I want something new or not very used. I'll be the ones from Sohfast are just as old as mine are (they'd have to be...)

I'll just hold off until they fall off the car.

Thanks everyone.

skunk2 camber kits on ebay for like 250 bucks. they are an adjustable control arm, instead of a camber kit.
