Default New Car ..has Issues....

as you guys know i just purchased an gst eclipse...well yesterday i was driving down the road at 55mph when i heard this clunk,clunk sound....the number 1 connecting rod broke punching a nice size hole in the pan....good thing the car was under a 30 day dealer warrenty....so i brought the car back got my money back....wasnt easy....and now tommorow iam goint to buy the dodge srt-4....why...its fast...new...low miles and has like a realy warrenty...what do you guys think........i know one thing eclipse suck.........

You're not going to just be drivng normally and break a connecting rod. Tell exactly what you did, mods, mileage, etc...

:werd: No doubt the Neon SRT4 will smoke pretty much anything out there, but Miamiracer do you own a Civic too? If so, what kind?

So let me get this straight you sold your dependable Civc, but an undependable DSM, blew up the engine, made the dealer take it back, and are now buying an SRT-4. Whatever you do don't turn up the boost obviously you are not nice to cars. Kinda funny we told you that DSM turbo weren't very dependable cars and a few days later you are posting that you sent a Rod into the oil pan isn't it.

Neon SRT-4....... No doubt.....hmmm..... Interesting...... I know of a Subaru that has its doubts......

i own a jeep cherokee it had a CEL i checked it and it was the o2 sensors.. they are fixed now and the CEL went away...
