Recently a b16 (omniman) and b17 (chad) have been built with off the shelf regular parts and both made just under 200whp and wtq in the 120s. Check the HT all motor forum for dyno plots and info. Using a b18 would result in more power. You can build them as crazy as you want to, it just comes down to how much $ you want to spend to make the power you crave.
I was trying to put things in perspective. Maximimum horsepower comes with a rather hefty price tag.
Not if you say, buy used 300zx TT. The handling might be little better too... Sometimes you don't need the maximimum horsepower if the car comes stock with a little more than 150hp.
300zx TT. The handling might be little better too...
The fact that you used 300zx and handling in the same sentence tells me you either don't know what you're talking about or are just trolling. They're fun to drive but not the best handlers. Anyway, keep it on topic.
B18 is better for all motor which is why most of the big guns in Honda all motor us ethe B18C
all- motor power is the most expensive power you can buy, with "the beast"im sure you can get close to 350 to 375 to the wheels if you invest the right parts and tune that fuel map in with the right ignition. On something that is this advanced, it just takes one little thing to decrease like 5 whp from the motor. it is pushing at its own limits. I dont understand the all-motor craze nowadays, whats the big deal with all motor. its kewl to be able to say you smoked a z28 with an all motor 4 banger but it would be even cooler to say that you smoked a vette with a turbo 4 banger. maby its just me but i know for one thing im not rich enough to support a hefty project like that. If you wanna do all motor, the best motor bar none is the new k20 type r. these are the future to all motor and probably turbo also.
