the thing is, the din controls are a little big....

as far as relocationg them, one place that always seemed good was in the armrest (assuming you have one). It would take a bit of hacking, and extending harnesses, but its possible.

another possibility is putting the hvac controls in the glove box.

but as far as I know, no one on here has attempted that. I remember there being a few threads about this in the past....

well, the lever is mechanical, but ultimatly, the signal is carried throught the harness.

There is a guy who lives about 20-30 minutes from me who has a total show car, fiberglass and all that. He relocated his hvac to his armrest (which was fiberglassed too) and put a 7" tv in the spot where the hvac and cd player goes. Looks really nice. Good luck!

basiclly, the worse two parts I can see would be extending the harness and getting the hvac to fit in the armrest, but it's doable. It'll just take time....

I remember there being (funny, actually) a del sol with HVAC controls moved to the center consol area. It was very :grinpimp:, indeed.

funny, because we just recently combined the del sol and civic forums, and there was some disagreements about it. I thought it was a bit ironic, the thread topic, and my basis for the idea (coming from a del slow )....
