So I met my girlfriends parents this weekend. It went pretty well except the first thing her father said was "so is that your fast and furious car out there?"

mannnnnn that blows, i get that some times to, even though my car looks stock on the outside. People in my g/f's family said "woah when you gona give me a ride in your hot rod?" they just don't understand untill they drive one. :sad:

 

say "right after I put her out of park and into drive" :chuckles:

EDIT: how long you two been goingout? i guess it's different when you don't live with your parents huh. the first time i met my g/fs mom she said she has a gun and she is not scared to use it... :nervous: now i joke with her about that. Everyone's parents like me, they always do :yes:

 

Barely a month. Her parents live in Crystal River, FL which is about 60 miles north of Tampa on the Gulf Coast.

 

you ever been to Galveston??? or anyone here? The Flordia gulf coast is really nice, Galveston you can't see your feet in like one foot of water:nervous: and seaweed is everywhere.

I met my g/f's mom like 3 days after we started going out like umm 1 1/2 years ago. and the first time i met her dad we talked about cars!

 

Im going sailing to the Tortugas soon. You can see straight thru to the bottom from your boat! Sandy white beaches and snorkling like crazy!

well i wouldn't call it off topic, you didn't really have something to talk about just that you met your girlfriends parents and they said you have a fntf car. It's just that some people don't know what they are talking about when it comes to import cars. People like your g/f's parents and my dad think that because i change one thing on my car that i want to be like Van Diesal or that other dude, they just don't know the joy i get from going fast and being one with my del sol.

when i first met my ex g/f's parents they loved me. i even got her dad to like my car. he pretty much hates hondas. hers a german kinda guy. she has a crappy 944 and he has a sweet ass bimmer he races. and he let me drive it a lot. so that alone means he liked me. haha. but once he sat in my car, he said he really liked it.

 

i cant even remember when i first met my g/f's parents, but i know it was before my sol. when i got the first one they liked it alot, and even when i totaled it with my g/f in it they were the first people at the scene of the accident and asked if i wanted to drive me and my g/f in one of their cars to school that day.
