just gets rid of sloppyness in the suspension by eliminating the factory rubber or aftermarket polyurethane spring isolator thingy w/ solid metal. On mcphearson strut cars they can be integrated with camber/caster plates too. They also make for a pretty rough ride. :eek3:

not necessarily, it just depends on how much of a compromise youre willing to make. Heck, the gt3 has spherical bearings instead of bushings, but I'd still drive that on the street :naughty:

I probably wouldn't... the benefits wouldn't be too great.. Although pobably more money, I'd consider the ground control upper strut mounts instead. They increase shock travel by a couple inches and improve damping characteristics, ride, and shock longevity. $75/pair.
