If you get it to the correct mileage then how would anyone find out you did it? It would register correctly with Carfax.com and everything.

if your engine has 24,000 miles on it do you want to be looking at an odometer that reads 300,000......no

yeah that is it really.. no big deal.. im just up tight about stuff being perfect.. the point is so simple.. if there was NO way to make it read correctly.. of course i would not care, but sinse there is a way then why the hell not.. the POINT of an odometer is to register the cars miles.. so i can make it work correctly why the hell would i not???:thumbup:

A speedometer shop can roll it back for you and be certified. You get paperwork and such. This is what I had to do whan my gauges went on the fritz.

found a very EASY way to do it.. adn it is done.. no one would ever know... i COMPLETELY disassembled it.. made it read like 100 miles high cause im not sure exactly when im doing it but it is at least close
