Auto X Suspension techniques and products
Hey, posted this into the racing forum too, but that forum is basically dead, and I would like to wait for friggin 2 weeks for an answer... then that'd be fine, but was wondering if anyone in this forum knew what products I should go with if I am going to try to steer my car more into autox racing and such.. anyway all your comments are appreciated.
Depends on what class you want to be in. www.scca.com can tell you the classes and what mods are accepted in each one. civicsiracer on the board autocrosses, and he should be able to answer your ?'s too.

so i don't know what the hell your talking about.
also like wilsel posted, it all depends on what class you plan on running.
99% of the seasoned autoxers will tell you to don't change a damn thing and drive the car stock for the first year. learn the car then start to make changes where the car is lacking.
yeah maybe the stock tires suck and the brakes suck and the shocks springs suck.
if you can't go fast with a slow car, then what makes you think you can go fast by throwing thousands of dollars at the car?
check out civicsiracer autoxer beginners guide/faq and just go out there and do it.
spend your money on the autox school instead of parts that might get you a .01second. that is if you are serious about getting fast.

Yeah read my help page in my sig below then ask questions. All the novices drivers I've helped I say the same thing
Don't do anything except mod the driver. When I instruct I actually tell my student to turn on the A/C and anything else that will create parastic drag on the engine, because 100% of the time the student will drive the car 110% of it's capabilities. Whereas a seasoned driver will be driving the car 99% of it's capabilities.
