I speak for only myself when i say:

I have noticed a lot of whoring going on in the civic forum!

There are a lot of smilie only posts, double posts, and posts that are not relative to the discussion.

I go around cleaning them up as much as possible. I also PM the member asking him or her to clean up their posts and quit their whoring (Oddly enough I'm still a nazi moderator).

If you have nothing to add to the thread PLEASE DO NOT POST. Also, don't post if you are trying to increase your post amount (Why that is important I do not know.)

I know some of you guys have been on here for a while and are friends with other members, but PLEASE stick to the subject at hand, try to keep all the off-topic chat to the basement. Us moderators let some things slide and that is up to our discretion.

I will continue to clean up the posts where I can, and if I have time I'll continue to PM members regarding any posts I have issues with. When the warning systems returns (which it will) I will simply delete the post and if I notice the same member doing it over and over again, I will simply warn the member, reason being: Whoring. THESE POINTS WILL STAY.

I'm going to leave this thread open, feel free to add your input.

ya, i hate post whores, replying with a quote, than putting in a smiley face. that doesnt help me at all. its fun in the basement tho

 

Why is that not helpful? Of course it is, because you're saying that you agree with them, or disagree...but it would of course help to add some more information on to it rather than a :thumbup:

I agree. Don't use this forum to increase your post count. And why would you want to do that anyway? You don't get paid more if you have 1000 posts or 1 post.

I think overall we're fairly leniant. This shouldn't be too much to ask.
