Default might have to sell my sol...

well that says alot huh? I kinda need a bigger car, when i help my g/f move and we used my car i noticed it. I told her that she has the big car and i get to have the little car but she was all pissy (like them all). I'm not 100% sure if i am, i don't want to at all. i can't afford to have two like some people (sxecrow ) IF did end up selling the sol i think i would get a hatch and make sure i get a stick this time and swap in something.... I don't know which gen hatch is better 92-95 or the newer ones. Or a 4 door Tacoma or like a 96 4 Runner (it gotsa be a yoda or honda). I'm so lost and confused right now, i feel like i'm a one legged man in an ass kicking contest....

If you want to keep the car, then keep the car. Don't let her push you around so much. You're really really gonna miss the Sol if you do sell it.

man, i'm no ones "bitch", she can ask me to do something and if i want to please her i'll do it. but the sol has brought soooooo much happines in my life, even still after 6 or so months of having it i find reasons to just drive and i still have to look around and make sure this is a sol and i'm really the one driving it. I'm living a dream. I love my car only, 2nd only to my g/f. I do know that sooner or later i WILL have to sell it i would like later, much later. but if i did which of those cars is a good one, she digs the 2nd to last gen ludes and so do i...

dude, if it brings you happiness, don't sell it! what is the point of life? to find the things that bring you joy, and enjoy them... (as well as deal with the things that bring you pain and sorrow accordingly)
I wouldn't sell it if I were you. Just my 2¢

as you stated in another post....PICS OF THE G/F!!!

this board has been depressing me a lot lately. all you guys wanting to rid yourself of your sol.
maybe im alone with this, but i dotn think ill ever sell my sol. its grown on me so much. i dont care what anyone says. if a g/f of mine told me to get rid of it (or because its not big enough), id tell the bitch to **** off and get a bigger car if she wants one. its yours man.

okay enough venting. i just like my sol so much, for a while i wanted to sell it (a few months after i had it), but then it became a part of me. and i love it.

:werd:

the only way I'd sell my Sol...is if I bought a new Sol, same year, color, less damages and/or problems, cheaper...and I could take all the mods off the old Sol and put them on the new Sol. But even then...there's something about my car...it's just.. "My Car." y'know?

My car is one of my passions. If anyone told me to get rid of it, then I'd tell them to go screw themselves. When they say that, they're telling me that they don't respect me, who I am, and the things I'm passionate about. "People" are not worth the things I am passionate about, those things that make me happy.

Hence my previous argument. But then that's just me. You obviously may not be as passionate about your car as I am.

Amen! I wouldn't sell my car, no matter how close I am to someone who wants me to get rid of it. Just not hap'nin.

And I would only get rid of my Sol in favor of a '97 DOHC VTEC, also in cypress green, or a 2003 3.2 CL-S.

I've decided to say this once, or cut and paste it into other threads of the same nature (of which there are many):

Wanna sell your Sol? Then sell it. It's a ****ing car. If you wanna post a thread about it, you obviously don't really want to sell it, because you're posting in a del Sol forum-- and 95% of the people who respond are going to tell you to keep it.

Simple enough? Jeez.
