I bought a aftermarket tach and it says to hook the green wire to the negative on the coil or the tach termanal on the electronic ignition. Well I cant find eaither can someone that hooked one up tell me where the hell to hook it.

behind the cluster in the dash there is a wire to where the tach would be if you didnt have a DX. I can't remember what color it is... get a hanes guide or manual and look in the diagrams for the RPM sensor. Also, there is a wire in the engine bay on the right side near firewall that is a diagnostics wire for the RPM sensor, you can use it as well.

Well actually the plug was under the hood by the firewall . It's the only blue wire that is loss with a cover plug on it ! Thanks for letting me know . God job !
