rear passenger door lock problem

rear passenger door lock problem

I have keyless entry on my car but whenever I unlock the car, the left rear door lock doesn't seem to open, the lock pin comes up only half way. I have to press the unlock knob a few times to get it up fully to unlock the door.

Any feedback?

sounds like the actuator came loose....pull the door panel and make sure that the actuator that is attached to the lock mechanism hast shifted.......

I'm not experienced with door locks and stuff.. what is the actuator?
What does it look like?

I'm having the same problem but I can't open my rear door whatsoever? The locks comes up half way then I can't manually open it.
