Default Low Idol Any Advices???

My 97 civic hatchback dx is idoling really low and sometimes the engine dies on me. I've tried to tilt my distributer, increase my fuel and air, and messed around with my throttle body. It doesn't seem like it has enough power when the car is at dead stop. Any Advices???

Check the distributor cap and rotor to see if the might be causing the rough idle.

It is the american Idol?? But like cashis said check the cap and rotor. Also make sure ur throttle slack it right and not to loose, there also is a idle adjust screw on the throttle body use that to adjust the idle to where it should be.

Plugs, wires, fuel filter. Check the basic stuff first like mentioned above.

i thought you should stray from doing that because the tps will read it as minimal throttle input
