Default distributor

whats up guys, I have a 93 del sol s, and i need a new distributor. Does anyone have one lying around they are willing to sell me for cheap. In about a month i will be swapping the vtec engine in there but i can't be without a car for a month.

I've been thru 2 myself. Those D series distributors are shitty! You can get one off a Civic with any D series motor and it should fit. Just take a trip to your local junkyard.

me either, ummm time to whore. Did anyone take in their sol for the 100,000 tune up, i'm getting close and i think that might be why i get bad mileage, and how much is it?

im at 168k. bought it at 148. not sure if the other guy did or not
and not sure how much it costs. but if all goes good, im not going to have to worry about that

do it yourself. Buy some plugs, change your oil, make sure your timing is right and put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank. You're done for less than $30-$40

hummm that would be a big step for me... never really messed with the inside of the engine... what plugs are the best? I know how to change my oil ( not that car stupid), and how would i make sure my timing is right?

Plugs? NGK.

Timing? Borrow a timing light.

timming light??? don't know what that is. how long of an extender do i need to reach the plugs?
