Bakeoff could answer better, but the D16 is a sturdy little engine. It can take a lickin and keep on tickin. I don't see why a stock D16 couldn't handle a supercharger :dunno:
well i think it could with like 6 psi, you can adjust sc like turbos cant you? and to me 6psi doesn't seem worth 1800 bucks, if i got new rods and pistons and blah blah, but my car would be out for a while.

Deals like that dont come often. Grab the supercharger and work up the rods later. Come to think about it, dont you have that automatic? Honestly, if you wanted to work up your Sol, get the manual tranny added, then worry about the engine.
yes i have the only auto on this board that i know of..... is the auto trans weak and can't handle like 180 at the crank? isn't that about how much a sc would boost me up to? I really don't want to do a conversion unless i have someone who has done it before there to help me or i take it to a shop and that would be crazy expensive i bet. I would like to go fast and have fun but like you said, if you wana play you gota pay, and i'm just not able to pay right now, money can be better spent else where right now. maybe down the line i'll try the two sol thing. :dunno:
Anyone going to buy it?? maybe it can be a valianitne gift to myself
Rock on dude. Screw the gf gift. She still love you and maybe you could get away with buying it for her so she'll always have a parking spot at your house. :boink:
