question about CF hoods

Default question about CF hoods

i was wondering if a CF hod made for a coupe or hatch would fit a 4 door....i was looking on websites and they say "fits coupe and hatchbacks"...arent they the same exact thing?? i know that the fenders are slightly different but the hoods too?? and info would be greatly appreciated

No it wouldn't. I think that the fenders on the sedan are slightly longer. I'm not positive on that, but it has been brought up before. Someone could correct me on this.

hoods, fenders, bumpers...

all different for the 4 door.

depends on if you are talking 5th gens or 6th gens,...i know for sure that 6th gen 96-98 hoods for coupes and hatchbacks will fit a 96-98 sedan,..99-00 hood for coupes and hatchbacks will fit 99-00 sedan

but for 5th gens,..i aways thought the hood was the same,..it was just the fenders and front bumper that was different,..but i could be wrong though

The hood,fenders,and bumper is all different on 5G 4 doors.

I posted about this a few times...

I have a hatchback/coupe hood on my car.

The only issue is the slight gap since the sedan hood is wider.

the coupe and hatch are the same
and the sedan are different

Yeah I had a hatchback hood on my sedan for a while too. It *works* but there are very noticeable gaps in a few places.
