I did to, just way at the top :slap:

I think i have right now 185-60-14 but those rims i want are 15 x 6.5. I won't have a problem with 205-50-15 will i?

To keep your current wheel/tire diameter the same and your speedometer accurate, you should get 195/50r15. If you had a VTEC Sol you'd want 205/50r15, because the VTEC starts with 195/60r14's instead of 185/60's.

Countless better tires out there in the ~$100 range. Of course, one RE blistered and another just ran-flat, so... :ugh:

Chaeck out www.edgeracing.com and also check out Rotas. I've had a set of rota Grids on my sol for about 3 years in MN and the roads here are terrible. Potholes up the whazoo, never bent one. I think they weigh a whopping 12 or 13 a piece.
If you want some great tires for summer, look into yokahama A520's. I had em on a set of 17's I bought from Soltaker back in the day, and they were awesome. If you get snow there, not a good choice, but texas? shouldn't be an issue.
I've been running Kumho 712's with my rotas, and they are damn good for the price. They grip much better than the 711's I used to have. And they're cheap! I drive hard, spinning tires, taking clover leaves at 60, and it took about 2.5 years to wear out the front tires, and the backs are still in great shape. Terrible in snow and HEAVY rain, but other than that, they kick ass.

I like the styling of the Sport Editions but these are BLACK and have skinny spokes and only weigh 14 pounds..... but cose 50 more, I don't know if my g/f will let me splurge 200 more for those. but one of the packages was 820...... must think

Really? Your Kumho's were that much better than the Bridgestones? Which RE's did you have? There's a bunch of em.

I had Kumho Ecsta 712's on my last Sol, and they sucked major ass. Didn't stick to the road, and they wore too fast. Not abnormal wear, just rapid.

Your Kumho Ecsta 711's:
