they only work if you need it to be done to accomadate heavy n/a tuning or forced induction. otherwise they are a waste of money for just I/H/E setups.

as for the cheap ones on ebay....i wouldnt even go close to any of those.

Default Venom modules

Does anyone have experience with the Venom control module?
Does it actually work? The vendor suggests a 25% hp improvement, but I am skeptical.

Also, can any one weigh in on the Jet performance chips.

Thanks!

trust me...if you dont have anything but I/H/E and a stock motor...the chip will do absolutely nothing.

Actually, they can even be detrimental. A lot of the more serious programs will dump butt loads of fuel. If you don't have the right setup all you'll get is a super rich mixture, gasoline fumes, and washed down cylinder walls that will probably mess up your rings and cause your engine to consume more oil.

exactly what i meant....on a stock motor, or just bolt ons....it'll do nothing in terms of performance gains.

Of course, just showing that it can be worse than nothing. Just adding fuel to the fire...or something like that.
