swap labor question

Default swap labor question

i have a 92 civic hatch dx. auto. i went to this shop and bought a motor. so heres all i got b16acomplete swap with lsd , 92 gsr j51 pr3 obd1 ecu, exedy stage one clutch, 5"tenzo r tach, and warentee. i paying about 3600 for everything installed in one day. is that a good price or am i gettin ripped off??? i got some insurance money and just went to this place and bought a bunch of shit so im kinda stuck with them now.. wonderin if i got screwed or is it ok.

also i just bought a skunk2 catback the other day.. wondering what others think of it.

if that includes an auto to manual conversion then you got a pretty good deal

the price seems a little high, but then again, if you let anyone else do the work, you end up paying a shitload.

You haven't been *ripped off* per say... I'd say youre alright... :dunno:


BTW: enjoy the LSD, really thats what justifies the price :goodjob:

love my skunk2 megapower catback...labor's always overpriced, but at least you don't have to screw with it

I agree. I know DX's didnt come with tachs but you dont need a 5" one.

Yeah you got kind of a good deal ! as long as it includes the auto to stick swap as well .

That seems like a fair deal, given if this shop is legit and does quality work.

yeah, just put in an EX/SI cluster or some JDM crap if you want the redline to be in the right spot.
